there is something within me that changes every time I step onto a stage and sing this song. I feel as if every time I sing it, the little pieces of my heart that have been chipped off throughout the years slowly put themselves back together, and with every note a little bit of all the pain and heartbreak I’ve endured slowly seeps out of my heart and into the ears of those listening. 

music is my religion, my therapy, my one true creator and healer and provider.
